Six people were hurt in a three-vehicle accident in Mercer County on Friday, July 12.
Police said the accident happened when a car driven by 21-year-old Susan Wright crashed into a vehicle driven by 31-year-old James Back. The accident occurred when Wright attempted to turn left on Route 358 in New Vernon. Back’s vehicle then crashed into another car driven by 19-year-old Benjamin Swogger.
Wright’s passenger, identified as Dale Thompson was hospitalized due to serious injuries he sustained. Other injured persons, including a 4-year-old boy, were taken to a hospital in Greenville.
Wright was cited for failing to come to a halt at a stop sign.
